The Lakes, our 18-hole Championship golf course, was brilliantly designed by the famous architect, Joel Goldstrand. In the company of two natural lakes, water is a key factor on ten holes. Carved from 100 acres of rugged northern woods terrain, each hole will offer you a challenge as well as the scenic beauty of Northern Minnesota.

Since 1921, when it was first introduced, golf has been an important part of Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge.
